The concept of Humswarm came from the need to be able to manage multiple bots created on the command line program, Hummingbot.

Optimizing the onboarding experience was a priority to encourage adoption as users needed to verify credentials, connect exchanges, import settings, and connect bank accounts to get started.

By recruiting users from a Discord of Hummingbot users, I was able to test user flows and app structure.

Using insights from the offline usability tests, I created an updated prototype to sit down and conduct a monitored usability test with a few users to validate design decisions.

I used a dark mode theme for final high fidelity mock up. This design had a dashboard that enabled users to both monitor swarm performance and manage bots within the same section of the app (a user need discovered during research).

During my time with AktaryTech, I was unable to see the creation of Humswarm come to life. After my contract, I was contacted by a former team member that my designs had helped them sell the concept back to Hummingbot for a significant fee (+$200,000).
